Azheekkal Beach (KayamKulam)

Azheekal is a small village in Alappad grama panchayatu.
Portions of the village were partially damaged during the 2004 Tsunami.
Kayamkulam is located 54 km south of Alappuzha on the NH47.
Kayamkulam kayal is a backwater destination on the waterway connecting Kollam to Alappuzha.

Krishnapuram Palace( Kayamkulam)

The Krishnapuram Palace is a rare specimen of the Kerala style of architecture.Today the palace is an archaeological museum, and the most fascinating exhibit here is the 49 sq.m - Gajendra Moksham - the largest single band of mural painting so far discovered in Kerala.
